Jablonna, Lubelskie Voivodeship. The key geographical feature of this commune is the valley of the Czerniejowka river, which flows from north to south just to the west of the middle of the gmina. Most of the commune is open, undulating arable land, but there is a very large wood in the northeastern corner and a smaller on in the centre, just east of the river. The commune covers an area of 131sq.km, has a population of 7400, and there are 2000 farms. Most of the roads, lanes and tracks are laid out in a grid pattern due to the long, thin nature of the fields, and farmsteads are usually located at one end of one of these strip fields. There are many orchards.
