2023 was a very special year for UNESCO. Over 45 years ago UNESCO published the first list of properites known now as the World Heritage List. Among these first 12 properties described on this list in 1978, two of them are situated in Poland.
Nowadays The Krakow Historic Centre and Wieliczka Salt Mine, as they were 30 years ago, are the most popular destinations for tourists visits in Poland. So far there are 17 properties in Poland now on this list and four more are on the Tentative List. Take the opportunity to visit during two special Almatur-UNESCO tours.
During this tour you will see the monuments and UNESCO-listed sites in the northern part of our country. Of course, we can combine this tour with the second part of the proposed tour in the south of Poland.
