Ten centuries of Polish sanctuaries…
Day 1
Arrival to Warsaw. Half day tour of Warsaw. Visit to the Castle Square, St John’s s Cathedral, walk through the Market Square. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Breakfast. Visit to the New Town Market and its Church and Monastery of Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament. Stop at the Krasinski Place near to the Monument of Warsaw’s Uprising. Departure to Niepokalanów. Visit in the Franciscan Monastery and basilica with the figure Mother of God of the Immaculate Conception. Visiting the Museum of St. Maximilian Kolbe. Departure to Lichen. Visiting the new Polish sanctuary, consecrated in 1999 by John Paul II. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Breakfast. Arrival to Poznan. City tour including the Old Town Market Square and its Old Town Hall. Walk to Ostrów Tumski – the oldest part of Poznan, with reconstructed gothic cathedral built in 10th century, Bishop’s Palace, the 16th century Lubranskich Academy and gothic Church of the Sacred Virgin Mary. Departure to Gniezno, the seat of first Polish archbishop in 10th century. Visiting the Gothic cathedral with its famous 12th century bronze doors. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Breakfast. Departure to Torun. Guided tour in the city includes House of Nicolaus Copernicus, the Town Hall, St. Mary’s and St. John’s Church, the ruins of the Teutonic Knights Castle. Departure to Plock. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5
Breakfast. City tour including visit to the cathedral, the Benedictine Abbey and the house of the Congregation where St Faustina Kowalska worked and received the message from Jesus of Mercy. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6
Breakfast and transfer to Warsaw for your retunr flight or additional program of visit.
